# Warranty

Safety Precautions

1. This product is a **clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter**, measuring flow based on the **Time of Flight (ToF)** difference of ultrasonic signals traveling upstream and downstream. Avoid using the product in fluids containing **bubbles, solids, crystals, or sediment**, as these may affect measurement stability and accuracy.
2. Install the main unit **away from strong electromagnetic fields, magnets, or ferromagnetic materials** to prevent interference with the sensing system.
3. Unused wires **must be insulated** properly to prevent electric leakage, short circuits, equipment damage, or risk of electric shock.
4. Before opening the unit, ensure there are **no foreign objects above the sealing gasket** on the bottom cover. When reassembling, tighten all screws **evenly**. Uneven tightening may damage the mechanism, and failure to remove debris or properly tighten screws may compromise **waterproof and dustproof performance**.
5. Always **disconnect the power supply** before performing wiring or opening the unit to avoid damage to electronic components or risk of electric shock.
6. **Do not press buttons continuously for extended periods**, as this may damage the button mechanism.
7. Electronic components naturally **age over time** and with environmental exposure. After the warranty period, users should evaluate the condition of the product and consider replacement if necessary.
8. **Avoid operating the product for long periods when the LCD backlight displays orange or red**, as this may cause damage or other losses.
9. **Do not expose the display to direct sunlight or other UV light sources** for prolonged periods.

#### **Measurement Range and Accuracy**

At low flow rates (< 1 m/s), measurement error may increase. Users should select an appropriate pipe size and installation method for their application. Accuracy **cannot be guaranteed outside the recommended operating range**.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Correct installation location is critical for accurate measurement. Follow the manual guidelines.

   * Damage caused by unauthorized installation, attachment, modification, or repair by the customer or third parties.
   * Damage caused by other abnormal factors, including those resulting from unavoidable natural catastrophes.
   * Product aging due to prolonged exposure to UV light.
