# A08 Pipe Material

### Definition

Set the pipe material. Default: custom.

### Notes

1. On certain models, a **“Pipe Material Confirmation”** screen will appear after adjusting **A04, A05, A06, or A07**. If the pipe material is modified on this screen, **A08** will be updated automatically.
2. <mark style="color:red;">Each time the pipe material is changed, please re-execute</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">**Z03 Auto Initialize**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">and</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">**Z04 Auto Zero Offset**</mark> <mark style="color:red;"></mark><mark style="color:red;">to improve measurement accuracy and ensure stable product performance.</mark>

### Operation Procedure

The main unit has **four buttons**. The **bottom line (Line 3)** of the LCD displays the current function of each button. Under normal operation, the button functions are as follows:

Gray Arrow Buttons:

A08 Pipe Material Setting Steps
• From the main screen (green backlight), 
  press Orange Button (Setup) to enter settings (orange backlight).
• Use Gray Arrow Buttons to select A. Measurement, press Orange Button (Enter).
• Use Gray Arrow Buttons to select A08 Pipe Material , press Orange Button (Enter).
• Use Gray Arrow Buttons to choose the options. 
• Press Orange Button (Set) to confirm.
• Press Blue Button (ESC) to return to the main screen (green backlight).
