# Parameter setup

## **Recommend flow of parameter set-up** <a href="#recommend-flow-of-parameter-set-up" id="recommend-flow-of-parameter-set-up"></a>

1. Set A1 for the Pipe type
2. Set B1 for  the flow rate volume unit
3. Set B2 for the flow volume time unit
4. Set B3 for the cumulative volume unit
5. Press ESC several times, Go back to monitor screen, check if flow direction is expected, use A04 A05 to change flow direction display
6. In the monitor screen, check if the flow volume is as expected, use A02 to scale flow volume.
7. E type parameters are for communication setup
8. F type parameter for communication simulation
9. Remove the device from the T-connector, and check if the lcd backlight blinks a  red light. Reinstall the device and check if the LCD monitor goes back to a green light.
10. Leave the device screen on one of 3 monitoring screens (flow volume, flow speed, totalizer).
11. Finish.
