# H07 Lock Device

### Definition

Sets the flow meter’s password protection to prevent unauthorized changes to configuration parameters. Default: Off.

### Notes

* When password protection is enabled, the **default password is 0000**. 
* To change the password, go to **H08 Password**. 
* Once enabled, a password is required to access the **settings menu** from the main screen.

### Operation Procedure

The main unit has **four buttons**. The **bottom line (Line 3)** of the LCD displays the current function of each button. Under normal operation, the button functions are as follows:

* Gray Direction Buttons:
